Which size suits your façade?
If your house sits right on the pavement, small will do. With a front garden in between, go for large.
Before you order.
What if my house number has several digits?
Each character is a separate stone with its own drilling template and fixings. If you want to see and order your whole number at once, use Configure — including a letter such as 12A. On the wall you line the stones up exactly as you like.
Can I fix it to any wall?
Brick, concrete, render and wood are all fine. The plugs supplied are meant for masonry; on wood you can leave the plug out and screw straight in. For a hollow wall or aerated concrete you need different plugs — any DIY store has them.
What is the difference between the materials?
Granite is speckled and lively, with black, grey and light grains mixed together. Belgian bluestone is blue-grey arduin with fine fossils and light veins. Honed Belgian bluestone is the same stone, finely ground to an even matte. All three cope equally well with frost, rain and sun — so choose on looks, not on durability.
How does it hang on the wall?
On the back of every character are three plastic caps, already fitted for you. On the wall you screw rubber click rings onto those same three points. You press the character on, the caps click into the rubber, and that holds it — without a single screw in sight.
How long does mounting take?
Allow ten minutes per character, drilling included. You need a drill with a 5 mm masonry bit and a spirit level. The drilling template is full size and marks the drill points, so there is no measuring or marking out.
